Rebecca and Simon married at Marriott Hotel, Tong, on the Leeds/Bradford border. Rebecca had chosen the theme of fairytale romance after discovering that their wedding date fell on the anniversary of a famous love letter that Beethoven had written to his "immortal beloved" 200 years earlier.
The weather was less of a fairytale... the worst rain I have ever seen at a wedding! We had three attempts at doing the group photos outside during the day but gave up as each time we went out the rain started again. We ended up in the hotel conference centre foyer!
The first dance is one that I will always remember as Rebecca & Simon had attended dance classes to learn a beautiful dance... knowing nothing about dance I can only describe it as being like a waltz from a Disney film. The hotel's resident DJ has the most fantastic lighting system that I have ever seen and this lead to beautiful first dance pictures as his colours slowly changed during the song.
