Paul and Louise chose the magnificent surroundings of Cartwright Hall art gallery in Bradford for their wedding ceremony.
To Louise's delight their wedding coincided with an exhibition by artist David Hockney, who her family had known when they were younger and lived on the same street in Bradford. So, after the ceremony the first stop was at "Bigger trees near Warter" in the downstairs exhibition hall. This is David Hockney's recent work from 2007, a giant oil painting assembled on 50 canvases.
Afterwards, the guests walked to the wedding reception at the nearby Dubrovnik Hotel which was lit with fairy lights and decorated with beautiful paper globes hanging in the centre of the ballroom.
