Stephen and Anne-Marie married at The Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Cookridge, Leeds.
It was a wonderful family occasion as a triple celebration - the wedding, the Christening of Anne-Marie & Stephen's daughter and Anne-Marie's birthday. The minister, Father Boniface, gave a very funny address to the congregation, describing the event as "buy 1 get 2 free" After a few minutes the hankies were out to mop up tears of laughter!
After the ceremony, we drove to The Headingley Experience, or what I know as "the rugby ground" - home of Leeds Rhinos. I grew up just around the corner from the reception venue, which is now far grander than it was when I was a child.
Anne-Marie's parents surprised her with a birthday cake to go along with the beautiful wedding cake which had been designed with an extra ring of small cakes at the bottom spelling "Rosie" for Rosie's Christening cake.
After the meal, the children danced the night away on a confetti covered dancefloor.
