If you are looking for a wedding photographer in an emergency (or even to pre-book!) please call me now on 0113 418 2924 (will divert to answerphone if I am asleep or on another call)

I'm a friendly, experienced, wedding photographer covering Yorkshire and Northern England.  If you are looking to pre-book your wedding photography please see my weddings page by clicking here

If you're looking for emergency coverage then this page is for you!

There are rare occasions when "the best laid plans" just don't quite go the way they were supposed to**.

When you're planning the biggest day of your life, the smallest thing going wrong can become very stressful.  So a major problem, like the photographer being unavailable, might be a bit much for even the strongest bride to cope with.

One of the reasons for hiring a professional photographer is that we should be relied on to have a back up plan.  However, if for any reason you do not have a wedding photographer then please call me on 0113 418 2924 to discuss your options.  If I am already booked I may be able to refer you to someone who can help.

My mobile number has an answerphone and is switched to silent when I am asleep.  I'd rather you call me at 10pm on a Friday to book me for 1pm Saturday than waited until 8am on Saturday!  I might just be able to say, "Relax, I'll be there" so that you can get a decent night's sleep.

Under the circumstances, knowing that I am fully insured, experienced, have professional equipment - and a pulse - might just be enough though!

** This page was inspired by the following incident**

I received a message from another wedding photographer requesting help.  A couple had booked him for their wedding and given him the date, which was on a Saturday.  On the Friday (day before) at 12.30pm, the groom called him to say, "We made a mistake...our wedding is at 2pm today, not tomorrow.  Can you still come?"  Of course, the photographer was miles away and at such short notice didn't actually get to the venue until after 4pm.  I had a photographer friend on Facebook who happened to live near the venue.  She went straight there and although she missed the ceremony she managed to cover all the group photos, bridal portraits, reception and cake cutting.

In 2011, I had several calls for emergency coverage from couples who had been let down.  Professional wedding photographers always ask you to pay a deposit and sign a contract.  ALL of the couples who contacted me in 2011 for emergency coverage had booked photographers who had not asked them to sign a contract or pay a deposit.
