I was delighted to attend a gala dinner to celebrate The Yorkshire Society's 30th anniversary as event photographer. The National Railway Museum in York was an excellent choice of venue.
As you will see from the photographs, the dining tables were placed onto the platform of the old railway station and the guests dined between a number of elderly trains that now live at NRM York.
The guests were entertained by performers including:
- Northern Ballet
- Kala Sangham (Indian dancers)
- Steve Smith (speaker)
- Robert Reynolds (singer & guitarist)
As the venue is a dimly lit old railway station I've tried to retain the yellow ambience of the lighting, rather than correcting it as I normally would.
