Thanks to my corporate clients, Axa, for booking me to cover their client's conference at such a lovely venue, the Royal York Hotel. Their delegates enjoyed an interesting day of presentations about the psychology of risk and then an evening gala dinner at National Railway Museum, York.
The after dinner speaker was the hilarious Perry McCarthy, better known as the original or "Black Stig" who entertained the audience with tales from his life as a Grand Prix racing driver and his time at Top Gear.
