"Your song" is the story of love. Maybe it's about the love between two people or perhaps love for someone who has now departed. Since my childhood, I have been able to hear the music of the universe. I can capture your song for you. If your song has words we will interview you and write them. Once the words have been approved by you the music will come to join them. It's taken me many years of training and practice to be able to capture and compose the music. About MeI grew up in Leeds, Yorkshire and fly my Yorkshire flag with pride in Oxford! I started my formal musical training aged 7 with classical guitar then acoustic guitar. Aged 10, I joined the choir at Leeds Minster and rose to become Head Chorister and Principal Soloist under the instruction of renowned Organist & Composer, Dr Simon Lindley. In 2020, my dream of studying at Oxford University came true. I was awarded a Choral Scholarship and a place to study music at Worcester College. I will graduate in 2023 to follow a career as a full time musician and composer.

What can I do for you?I offer various services as a musician. Unique songs and instrumental tracks can be created to celebrate your wedding, event or commemorate a special person. "Your song" is a special gift, something to treasure forever. My main instruments are guitar and voice. I also play several other instruments including saxophone, drums & ukulele I do some in-person performances for weddings though these are limited due to my busy performance schedule in Oxford. |
Services & PricingMy services are bespoke to meet your needs. As an example, a custom song to celebrate your wedding, supplied as a digital recording, starts at £395. In person performances, where your song can be performed on it's own or as part of a longer acoustic set, start at £795. This service is suitable for a wedding ceremony, speeches or drinks reception. Enquiries & bookings are made via Ollievision Ltd.

Frequently Asked Questions about bespoke wedding music
How do you supply the music?
Your song is supplied as a digital download, so you should receive it within a few hours of me uploading it to you. I can also supply it on a DVD or USB drive if desired. I will upload your song to my YouTube channel and/or Facebook page so that you can easily share it with friends (unless you ask me not to.)
We'd like a special performance of a well known song for our first dance. Can you do that?
Yes, I can re-write words and change the speed & feel of the song to suit your needs.
We are huge fans of a certain band and would like our bespoke song to be in their style. Is that possible?
Yes. I write music in different styles and genres so you can guide me regarding how you want the song to sound. Switching to a female singer is also possible for an additional fee.
Who owns copyright of our song?
The composer always retains copyright of the music, this lasts for 75 years after they die. You get a licence for personal use of the song. You can play it, share it and enjoy it forever. Your photographer & videographer will be able to use it in your video or slide show if they want. You can't sell it or enter it into competitions. Please ask if you think you might need a licence to cover any other use.
If we book an in-person performance at our event what will you wear?
I'm happy to be guided by you regarding dress code to fit the theme of your event. I could wear black tie, a formal business suit or something more casual.
Do you use AI or software to create the song? Is your process partly computerised?
No, I'm a real human composer! The music is composed in my head and then written down on paper or onto the computer.
Our venue requires suppliers to hold PL & PI insurance. Do you have that?
Yes, I am fully insured as a professional trader. If your venue needs to see my certificate I can email it to them before the event.
Our venue needs traders to have any electrical equipment PAT tested, is yours covered?
Yes. Though PAT testing is only required for equipment that plugs into the venue power supply.
If we want our own wedding musician to perform your song can you help them learn it?
I can supply music for them. If they can't read music I can work with them via Zoom to do a session which will help them learn the song or supply a simple recording for them.
